Making training
affordable without surrendering quality
.
Andrew Mitchison
Hi I'm Andrew,
I'm the MD and head trainer at Designer Fitness. Having always had a keen interest in fitness, I decided
to take it one step further and make it my full time career!
I graduated with Premier Training at UCL, gaining a Diploma in Fitness
Training and Sports Therapy. As well as gaining scientific knowledge
in this area I've attended numerous work shops where I've learnt additional
techniques.
I immediately scored a career with David Lloyds, one of the best health
clubs in the country, where I concentrated specifically on personal training.
I became one of their top trainers. From there I moved
to Fitness First where I set up my own fitness company, and thus Designer
Fitness was
born!
After a long successful run with Fitness First I realized the huge demand
for personal training and a scarce gap in the market, I decided to take
Designer Fitness solo and concentrate on home visits.
I recognised that people are now leading very busy lives, working longer
and harder hours and they don't always have time for traveling to and
from a gym. This is where Designer Fitness really comes in to its own,
with training sessions to suit clients wherever and whenever they choose.
Using the Designer Fitness Training Principles, clients are able to
achieve the maximum results from their programmes and really see results
for all their efforts. Not only are the sessions effective, efficient
and affordable but most importantly I place a lot of emphasis on fun!!
Seven years on Designer Fitness boasts a long list of happy satisfied
and very fit customers.
Jonathan Mitchison
Hi my name is Jonathan and I am a trainer with 'Designer
Fitness'.
I qualified as a fitness trainer in 2002, after graduating
with Premier Training.
However, my interest in physical fitness started years earlier when,
age 16, my brother Andrew (MD of Designer Fitness) gave me my first set
of dumbbells and began teaching me how to sculpt my body. Qualifying
with Premier Training gave me invaluable knowledge and techniques and
meant I gained a recognizable qualification which I could use to help
other people.
I joined Designer Fitness after seeing the huge demand for people wanting
to get into shape, but not having the time or motivation to do so.
Working 1 to1 means I can help people achieve exactly what they want,
fitting in around their lifestyles.
My approach to training clients strongly involves using
'Bio-mechanics' i.e. by looking at the clients posture, one
can assess 'incorrect postural
habits' for example a desk worker.
Being mobile with Designer Fitness means I can
offer clients effective training techniques where ever it suits them
- be it in their home, garden,
park or gym .
